H4 dependent status once I-140 approval

Hi Guys!My family will be arriving here this june from Philippines.The problem is that they were not here when I filed for AOS.they are under H4 visa and what would happen if my I 140 and 485 is approve?what will be their status?Do you have any info on the possible date for next filing for AOS?thank you

As soon as your PD becomes current, you have to add them as derivatives on your I485 by filing for them. If your 485 gets approved before you apply for them, they become out of status. You have to plan carefully and be very observant on the priority date. Talk to your lawyer.

thanks txhib.Is it possible for me to file them anytime?or do I need to wait for the priority date for AOS to be available?Do you have any idea when would be the next filing for AOS so that I can file my dependents?

You have to wiat for the PD to become current. Keep checking the monthly visa bulletin that is released by state department.
