Adding Spouse's name for Green Card at I 485 stage

I am currently on H1-B visa and My Husband is in I-485 stage of Green Card Processing( scheduled for Finger Printing next week). My question is, If he adds my name to his Green Card application at this point, will we both get the Green Card together, or I'll have to get the whole I-485 stage processed for myself before I get the Green Card. Does adding my name to Green Card application before or after he gets his finger printing done make any difference?

You can file your I485 app now and try to add your case to your spouse's case. If you do not get a FP notice soon, you can bug INS to do so.
As long as you are married before 485 approval you have a good chance.
If 485 app is delayed or not accepted, you can opt for CP. As you are in H1, you can legally stay here. And can visit your home country to do the interview at the consulate.
