Hey Forum Folks! I wanted to start a new page for all SF Bay Area filers, specifically who filed in or around June/July 2018. I noticed that all the subscriptions for that timeline have kind of died off here so I wanted to start a fresh one. Please leave your story and timeline so we can all compare our journeys. I just wanted to reach out because it is cathartic to share stories on here while I wait patiently for this excruciatingly long process. Some field offices are fast, but apparently SF is not. It is one of the slowest in the country, I believe. I just would like to see if there is a glimmer of hope by way of a success story from the Bay Area. Thanks and good luck...

Did the doctor sign your I-693 more than 60 days before sending the I-485 in June 2018? If not, then your I-693 is valid for 2 years since the signed date.Originally posted by keldreams View PostHey Angie.. I remember you from the other forums... any updates? Not sure if you know this, if we didn't get our combo card renewed before the expiration date, can we continue to work? I saw some guideline on USCIS website, stating that we could work for another 180 days if we properly filed our EAD renewal notice before the expiration date, assuming it's category c(9) for everyone here. Not sure if anyone knows about this rule, see link below.Originally posted by keldreams View PostHey Angie.. I remember you from the other forums... any updates? Hi Maria22... how did you already have a SS card? Are you a Visa overstay or DACA?

Other option is F1, they can get SSN. The lawyer told us not to ask for another SSN card so I didn't tick that box on I-765 (just for spouse and child).Originally posted by keldreams View PostHi Maria22... how did you already have a SS card? I came with J1. I did order a new SSCard because I changed my last name when I got married so I needed the new one updated.Originally posted by Enub4 View Post
