  • Filing with FedEx and signature by J HARPER

    Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone filed their applications with FedEx before? I filed the application on June 6th, with FedEx and it was received on June 10th and signed for by J.HARPER and I haven't received anything from them yet (no texts) and the checks were not cashed.

I understand that it might be too soon to hear from them or to get the checks cashed, it's only exactly a week by now. But I have been so stressed after googling sending the application with FedEx, it seems that even though FedEx applications will get to USCIS sooner than USPS, it won't go to the lockbox and will take much longer (weeks) to get started worked on, and to get a case number assigned to it. Is this true?

Anyone has any experience filing the AOS with FedEx or having it signed by J HARPER?

I live in Portland, Oregon and sent the application to the Chicago office.

    Thank you so much,
    I really appreciate it.

It's been only 7 days since they've had your documents. Give it more time. Usually takes 11-14 days to get NOAs but up to a month isn't unlikely. My bet is you'll hear this week.

Also sent I130 on the 18th of September to USCIS, signed by J Harper. Haven't received NOA texts or emails yet. Is this normal?

I sent application back in August with FedEx and was signed by J. Harper as well, so that is a legit person. My card was charged by the end of the week; but I heard that sometimes it may take a few weeks to get some activity being made towards your case. So I will say give it another week and if you still don't hear anything, give them a call.
