    Hello all,

I need your help please as I recently submitted an application package for myself (principal applicant) and my children ages: 16,15 and 10. Note that this is a marriage based application. I and my wife meticulously completed all forms and attached every required document.

To my greatest surprise, the package was returned with reason for rejection being that we did not include the correct fees. Here's a breakdown of the fees we sent:

    My wife: $535 for I-130
    Me: $1760
    Child 1: $1225 (16yrs)
    Child 2: $1225 (15 yrs)
    Child 3: $750 (10yrs)

All fees above are inclusive of biometrics (except for my 10 year old).

Can someone please help me with information on the correct fees. Everything else seems fine except the fees.

    Thanks in advance!

    Married to US Citizen, right?
Why you send $1,760? Was that in one check or two?

According to one page that I read, if USC then I-130 must be filed for each one at $535 each.
Also you mention your wife $535 for I-130, is that the only I-130 filed? because you then said Me: $1760. Usually is $535 for I-130 and $1,225 for I-485 and all the rest are free (I-130A, I-765, I-131, I-864).

If what I read is correct and you married an US Citizen, then:
    $535 for I-130 and $1,225 I-485 for you, same for Child 1 and Child 2. For Child 3, $535 for I-130 and $750 for I-485.

You should file form I-765 too and select the get SSN, that will save you a trip to the local SS office.

This information is without experience, only reading immigration information.

Edit: you have 2 posts with same information. newacct is helping on the other one, please follow the advice posted there and answer the questions.

      Hello Enub4,

Thanks for your response. Sorry for d miss up, the 1760 I mentioned above is the 1225 + 535 for I-130. We did not pay any additional fees for my children's I-130 because we read that she shouldn't file separate I-130s for them. This is really confusing.
