Hi guys,

I sent I-485,I-765 to Chicago Lockbox via USPS on July 9th
July 11th available for pick up ( USPS website)
July 13th reminder to schedule redelivery or it will be returned to sender on July 26th ( USPS website)
July 26th I emailed USCIS Lockbox support to check my case. The auto-reply shows that I should expect to receive a reply of the inquiry within the next 30 business days.
July 27th ( today) still nothing. I do not even know where my package is right now. I called USPS service number, and they told me that Chicago Lockbox should have received my package already.

Waiting is so frustrated.

i got my bio metrics appointment letter yesterday and it is scheduled for 08/08/19.

Update: I just received the text notifications that my i-485 package is accepted! Waited 26 days for this.. So happy!

I’m so anxious because looking at past post the average response time for text messages and notices were between 10-15 days, my patience is already low and my journey has just started ????

I started out this journey a month ago focusing on tiny details that made me anxious, but now I realize I just have to let go and celebrate whatever comes. I read so many different cases and there are some really random timelines. I hope we fall into the speedy ones!

Hi! So what happened to your biometrics walk-in on July 23? I received my appointment letter last Friday and the appointment date is Aug 16th. Since I don't want to wait for another two weeks, I'm considering doing a walk-in now. I saw lots of people did it here.

Hey guys! I tried to go get my biometrics done today as a walk-in & I was not successful. They didn’t take me in. Anyway, I got my appt on Wednesday!

Hi American Dreamer! It was very brief. I arrived half hour early. There were only a few people. I checked in and went inside for my fingerprint. 5 minutes later I was out. This was July 31 and on August 2 my case changed to "fingerprint review completed". That's where I'm at.

Mine is at Michigan City, IN. I'll give it a try. On my way to there now.

Did my biometric walk-in at Michigan City this morning. Couldn't log into the case status online service, is it just me or the system is down?
