With all this COVID-19 craze, any idea if USCIS field offices might close? I have my interview in San Jose on 24th - and to be frank, I'm freaking up if they'll just quarantine them.
I looked up, and there is a page on their site, that is to be updated daily - and in case of closure, they'll reschedule your interview.
Quite unfortunate, I might say, is to have an interview in a middle of pandemic.
I agree,my interview is in San Fernando valley on March 30th. The only thing right now they post is,that you're not supposed to get there when you're sick. And,if the officer thinks you are,he/she might send you home& reschedule So,it's way nerve wrecking.... just hoping for the best
Caligirl and sf2019july, i received interview notice today. Interview is in April, notice says ‘request to appear for initial interview’. Am i going to have another interview? What does your notice say?
I quote: You are hereby notified to appear for the interview appointment, as scheduled below, for the completion of your Application to register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status and any supporting applications or petitions.
then followed by the long list of stuff,to bring.
I see the same in the section below the box. However the text ‘request for application to appear for initial interview’ is with in the box. In the section where you find application specific details like notice date, receipt#.. etc.

So we had the interview on Feb. 25, 2020. (Employment based, german Nationality, EB3). 20 mins. Done and approved. Officer told us we should receive the GC in 1-2 weeks. Tomorrow it's 3 weeks and still nothing. Also the online status on USCIS case status still sits on "Interview got scheduled" January 21.
