are you guys separated at the time of interview? What kind of questions they asked both you ?

We were not separated. He asked us a few questions:

How did you meet?
How did my husband propose and when?
How many people were in our wedding?
Did you go on a honeymoon?
Did you travel anywhere together?
Were you married before?
Do you have any kids outside this marriage?

And I think that’s it. Then he asked a few random yes and no questions from the 485 form and that was pretty much it!

Today I completed my interview in Newark NJ.
PD 07/08/2019....it was scheduled for 2pm but we didn’t get called in until hour and a half later. Our officer seemed a little strict in the beginning but then was cracking jokes later. We had a few laughs and he made us feel at ease. He said he can tell that our marriage is legit and would approve me on a spot but has to get it approved first. He told me we should have an answer within a week. So now I’ll just hope for the best because It seems to be the norm that people are told this same information and then wait weeks if not months after the interview. Really hope that is not the case but I am definitely happy to have the interview behind us!

No biometric scheduled yet and EAD date is about to current

No updates and I am not mad about that, the pandemic is causing financial loss for my family. Also, if the Trump Administration doesn’t act fast our wait will be much longer when they furlough 13,4000 USCIS employees in August.
