biometrics taking so long for I 485

hi guys I got my receipts on June 7 2019 and since then no changes on my application the only thing I see on the usciis website is name was updated , I been checking the site and many people got their appointment for biometrics in less than a month . any advice? on what to do will be appreciated

The site will not update. It will not say if a letter with appointment was sent or any other thing about the biometrics.

The only thing you can do is call them and tell them you haven't received the biometrics appointment. That you want to know if one is scheduled and the date (may need to send a copy by fax for you to go to the appointment). This just in case the letter was lost in the mail.

I called yesterday but the automated system told me the same thing , there was no option to speak to a representative , what number you guys call to speak directly with a real person ?

To speak to an actual person you need to chose the 'I dont have my receipt nr option'.... I think it's options 1-1-2-2 (then it will ask you to put in your receipt number) and then you get to be on hold for at least 30 min
But to be honest, they are not very helpful in my experience....

I feel like everyone is getting their letters in different order. You shouldn’t necessarily freak out. I got my biometrics quickly (1 month after filing) but it took them 4 months to send me an I-693 courtesy letter. From my experience it’s the other way around.
Depending on your case and where your are things can go faster or slower.
