Hi,
I concurrently filed i-130, i-485, i-765, i 131 last week . The documents was delivered to Chicago lockbox on August 9th. On August 13 my credit card was charged with 17660 $. On August 14th I got text message with 4 receipt numbers statting that case was received an i-797 should follow in email.
Same night when I go to the website to check the status. All the receipt numbers have following status.
Form G-28 Was Rejected Because It Was Improperly Filed
On August 13, 2019, we rejected your Form G-28, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited Representative,
The weird part is I filed it myself without the attorney so my g-28 checkbox on all the forms were not selected.
The only g28 on the entire document stack was the G28 with my current i-129s (L1B) petition as I have to give that along with the visa as my visa clearly states that i-129s must be present.
Do you guys know if my case is received and g-28 rejection doesnt cause a problem ( even though i filed myself). from what i learned is even though g-28 is reject which only means that attorney wont get any notices and it will be routed to applicant/petitioner.
