How to get text from USCIS?

I filed my application paper in January and never received any text, only mail. I also have an account with USCIS where I can sign in and see the status of my case at this link: https://myaccount.uscis.gov/

Can anyone please help let me know how to get text from USCIS. Thank you.

My understanding is that the form you file with your package will only allow them to send you text/email for the receipts.

I get email updates by creating an account in each of the USCIS online services. When there is an update sometimes I get the SMS but always get the email (gmail account).

When you create the accounts, there is an option to add your cases and select if you want to receive SMS/email with any update.

I created 2 accounts with both the link you shared and wondering what are the differences between them. Then I forgot the user name of this

Then I chose "forgot user name" and answered the question then it said an email will be sent to my email to let me know my user name. So far I have not received any email. I hope it come later.

Can you try logging in with the email address associated with the account?

Yes, I did and it did not go thru. I clicked "Forgot my user name" again answered the security question again and it said again an email will be sent to you to let me know the user name, .... Nothing so far.
