Anyone here waiting after interview at Mount Laurel office?
I have my interview 13 weeks ago. After the interview, the officer told me that I would have the result in the next 6 or 8 weeks, but I got nothing since then.

What should I do? Continue waiting or raise the RS? Anyone in the same situation like me?

Mama T hi. We had our interview there in August. We were with our 2 kids, one applying for the free card with us and the other born here. We went in quickly. The officer was serious at first but nice, then after receiving and filing the papers and biometrics it just continue as a very friendly conversation. Kids behaved and we’re able to use their tablets. She couldn’t approve on the spot as in August there were no more visas available (retrogression) but she said everything was ok and there was no need to do anything, just wait for dates to be current again. As soon as October vida bulletin was out having current dates again the case changed to Cards being produced and we got our cards this week. Good luck, if you are doing things right everything will be fine, no worries.

          Thank you for sharing.
I read that you are in EB3 and you mention that in October bulletin your PD is going to be current but you already got the GC, is that right?
Other people reported that when the month started the GC was approved, so in your case should be at least next week. This is the first time that they approve a GC a few days before entering the month when PD is current.

There are few posts about retrogression and approvals, the few I read all said the GC was approved the first week or two of the month the PD became current. Is good to know they can approve and deliver the GC a few days before too. Thanks.

My interview is in 2 weeks . I have 2 babies under 2 years . I would be taking the baby in with us to the interview . He’s 5 months . Thank you very much for your response . I cane to this country on k1 visa . (Fiancé visa) got married a month after . I filed in 2017 so it’s bn a long wait for us . We’ve had 2 kids since we applied . I can only pray for good news when my time comes .

My kids are 2 and 5 yo. I really think is a good idea to bring your kids. What better proof of a bonafide marriage than that, plus the officers are very used to have interviews with kids, is common. We also started the EB3 process in early 2017, is a long wait but we are lucky compared to people from countries who have to wait several years for date to be current. You are married and doing things right I’m very positive there is no risk. This interviews are intended to catch people trying to cheat the system, you Will be totally fine and probably with a Green Card on hand way before Christmas.
