Baltimore people!!!!

Have been on this process since March 2018. Did the interview Nov 9, 2018. No approval or denial yet. Anyone on the same boat?

PD February 2019. Transferred jurisdictions to Baltimore in June. File was finally transferred from previous FO in August. Radio silence other than that. It's so disheartening to always see Baltimore in the top worst offices for literally everything.

You are not alone. All I tell myself is this too shall pass. I came to the US as a child of a 2yr conditional green card holder and had to battle the Baltimore Field Office for about 8yrs to get my permanent GC, but my case was complicated because of filings my father and stepmother did not complete. That aside, most of my family and friends went through Baltimore, it took ;longer than other field offices but it worked out in the end. No denials. So I know all will be well for my husband this go around. We just need more patience than most and to make sure all our ducks are in a row so they have no further excuses for even more delays.

So we went to the IRS office in Baltimore today to file our first joint tax return. Well really, to apply for a Tax ID number for my spouse and submitting your federal tax return is required with the W-7 form. We need an ITIN for him to open joint bank accounts and to add him to my insurance policies, etc. Anywho… they said 9 to 11 weeks for processing the ITIN application.

9-11 weeks!

WTH!?

It's like all federal offices in Baltimore run slower than molasses.
