  • Interview done , wait is exhausting .mt laurel office

We had our interview on Wednesday October 9th . We arrived 30 min early . She called us exactly at the appointment time . Interview was smooth . Only question asked was where we met . No further questions asked . We just went through the applications . She was surprised our case took this long . We filed in June 2017 .

I came on a k1 visa . She said she can’t say it’s 100% approved but everything checks out for her . I should check on my status after 4 working days and I will puke receive a tracking number and can track the card . She didn’t even want to look at our pictures or anything . She only took copies of our kids birth certificates . We have 2 , we took one with us to the interview .

The IO was very pleasant , I must say and. Made us feel at home .she was rather sympathetic that we had to wait that long .
Now , I can’t stop checking the status . The wait is exhausting ! The status says interview complete and case must be reviewed . I don’t know if that means she found something and would send us an RFE . Anyone in similar boats .

Im available for any further interview experience questions though

Hi, I was interviewed on Oct 09 as well, San Jose USCIS.
After the interview, the officer gave us a paper that said case was held for review. And we should wait for a couple of weeks.
But yesterday, online status changed to New card being produced. I hope yours would be the same. Good luck! Don't worry too much.

Hi everyone, had my interview a month ago. Everything went fine but she said that she needs a new medical and told me to go to the doctor ASAP, so I have it ready by the time she sends me a notice request.
so apparently, the medical expires in 60 days from the day when it was signed by a doctor.
i have 30 days left to submit it and I was wondering if I can just submit it without there request notice, has anyone done that?

I know, the waiting period is nerve wracking. My wife wasn't approved on the spot. After our interview, the status online was "Case must be reviewed" and then, the status changed quickly and after that, everything else moved forward pretty fast. Have patience because it is almost over!

                My wife's timeline:
                03/04/19 - Forms 485,130 and 765 received by USCIS
                04/04/19 - Biometric
07/16/19 - RFE issued by USCIS (asked for the 2018 Taxes)
08/13/19 - Evidences received by USCIS
                08/26/19 - Interview was scheduled
                10/01/19 - Interview
10/02/19 - New card is being produced.
                10/07/19 - I-797 received informing the I-130 and I-485 have been approved.
10/07/19 - Card was mailed to my wife
10/10/19 - Card received (7 months and 7 days but her card states "resident since 10/2")

My interview was on the 9th October too in Las vegas. We were not approved on the spot because the Dr. did not fill the medical form properly. The IO said he'll send out the letter by the end of that week. But we have not received anything yet. Even the case has not updated online. It still shows we have scheduled your interview. Does anyone know anything about this or has any experience?

Dont trust too much what you see online. My wife got her GC two weeks ago and when I go and check the status of my I-130, the message is still the same: ""Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed"
