  • I-130 interview didnt get result

    Hello guys,

I have a question, i am also in the removal process right now, my question is i went to I-130 interview last month at Sep 22th 2019, interview passed good we answered all questions correct officer told us they will let us know their decision with mail but its been more than 1 month but i still didnt get any response, i called the immigration on the phone, they said still in the process, is this normal? Does anybody know how long does it take to get the result?

    I applied from Atlanta

    thank you!

Same situation here. 3 months since interview no results yet. The interviewing officer said to give them 120 days and after that schedule an infopass or whatever. I’m going to meet up with my lawyer next week to see if there’s anything i can do.
i wish for everyone’s sake there was a way to speed it up but somebody else commented on one of my posts that he’d been waiting for a year since the interview and still no decission :/

In 2 weeks it will be 120 days since my interview and same as you, no answer on it. I cannot get to a Level 2 and Level 1 keeps telling me that the 120 days are not an exact deadline.
So basically, they threw in my face that I could make as many service requests as I want, because the deadlines that they give don't matter and the only thing I can do is wait.
I'm reaching my limit with these perky Level 1 agents. I'm always being super nice with them and what I get back? Total sassiness.

Wow...1 year. These people really have no consideration whatsoever. Can I ask what are you adjusting from and what city you had the interview?
I'm waiting for 5 months now.

I saw a post on the experience thread about someone who waited for a long time for his result. I think what happened is that uscis accidentally transferred the file to another office and marked it as case closed when its not. The guy also asked helped from the congressman. I say keep trying until they give you the result. If not, then file lawsuit against uscis.

The congressman got back to me and state that the case is currently at the Pittsburgh office. Also the person that he spoke to stated that they have forward some inquiry to that office to see what's been happening. I then went ahead and contacted the uscis contact center and they told me that they been all over my case most days in last week so hopefully they review it. That's just a sad thing to know that I've had the interview for a year and a month and my status remains at interview was schedule even tho every case is different I spoke to a lot of people that went to that office for their interview and got there green card with weeks.
