                      Thats great news. Congrats!

I am looking for some advice:

We are waiting for our AOS interview schedule now.
We live in Savannah, GA and our field office is Charleston SC.

I have a new job offer from early Sept in Louisiana. We are planning to relocate to Louisiana.
I do not want to jeopardize delaying our case further, by updating my address to a different state and having the application be sent back to National Center.
I know its one step away and probably sitting on an officer's to-do list.

                      Options:

                      1. No change of address: Hope interview notice and interview happens by the time we move.

                      2. No change of address, with cost impact: If interview notice is not received, keep current apartment, and do not change address. I have USPS delivery tracking and will know when a delivery of notice is sent. Then I can ask family in town to send it to us, and my husband and I fly back to interview. During interview, we inform of updated address for future correspondence.

                      3. Change of address to family's address in same area : Change address on USCIS website to my FIL's home, which is in the same region and will fall under the same local field office.
That way, even though address is changed, it wont jeopardize our filing progress. Am I right in understanding this?
A local immigration attorney suggested these options, and he seemed to indicate option 3 will not cause additional delay.
My FIL is good with his mail,so I can trust him.
Any views on whether option 3 is a good option that avoid delay or will any change of address, no matter the location, cause additional delay?

Now USCIS has some issues in printing the cards and they take about 3 weeks from the day of card is being produced until card is mailed. So total about a month, but it should be dated as of today’s date.
