Hello friends I filed i485 on 11/30/2017 SF California .I got an email today from USCIS saying my i485 is still currently pending adjudication.Whats that means ?

"Pending adjudication" is a fancy way of saying "pending decision". Your case might still be stuck with background checks or so. Is your interview over?

You should call the USCIS helpdesk to check the progress and raise a service request that your case is outside normal processing time even for SF field office, since its been 2 years.

I did called help center they told me my case is outside normal wait .SF office USCIS emailed 2 days ago I485 pending they can’t say when my case will be .I fix my 486 by son Us citizen I 130 .I haven not get an interview yet ..

My wife’s 485 process has also been waiting for an interview since we submitted in October 2017.

What other steps have you taken besides calling USCIS? Congressional inquiry? Service requests? USCIS Ombudsman?

Yes I’m still waiting for an interview..Only called USCIS about my case outside normal wait time.Still working on my case cannot know about much time to wait will take more ..
