  • Written/oral amendment at interview

    Hey everyone...

I have my interview coming up in the next few weeks and when my husband and I were looking over our application and documents I noticed that my lawyer’s office made a typo under the section for my parents. (I am the applicant.) For my mother’s birthdate and birthplace they accidentally put the same info as my husband.

Anyone have anything like this happen? My lawyer said that it shouldn’t be a problem since the info is non material and that I can submit a new page and/or do an oral amendment for that section with the IO. I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

This can be changed during the interview,

They will ask and correct any information on the 485 (eg, address, work) and make you sign 485 saying you changed it, No Issues, Good luck.
