My priority date has reached this month,need GC asap to take a job offer, what to do?

Do you have a valid EAD? I was under the impression that for work-related cases having an EAD is practically the same as GC. If it is going to expire soon you can send the renewal with a copy of the I-485, I got the receipt in about 10 days and that will work as an extension if I don't get the renewal when my EAD expires.

As far as I know, there is no expedite for GC only for EAD.

My interview for I-485 , (based on approved EB1A I-140) was done in Feb 2019 and this month (December) the my priority date has reached. Therefore I expect to receive the green card this month. I have a job offer that I can only take if I have my green card in hand. What are my options? I called them today and they told me that processing time for I-485 at the city I interviewed according to their website is March 2018 but they said they have different officers and this March 2018 date could be for one of them who is most back in processing applications and other officers may be more closer to current.

Is expedite an option? the only option (with Expedite) I may have is the one with significant loss to individual but I am not sure if I can use this option or not. What I have in mind is to show them the job description requirement of green card holder status and tell them if I dont get this job it would hurt my financially. Do you think this would work? Also I am not Chinese or Indian so their timelines don't apply to me.

I really dont know what I can do at this point. Please let me know what you would suggest. Thanks

What do you mean by saying your not Chinese or Indian?
As far as I know, All is equal when applying I-485 and dependent with your current location.
When I applied for my AOS I-485, I did my expedition of my I-765 (AED) by calling USCIS since I got a job offer while my I-485 is still pending. I reasoned of FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF INCOME.
Also, I mentioned about emotional and psychological health as I am not able to work and always in low self-stem due to the fact that my wife is the only person to support me and she needs
to work double job in order to make ends meet. My I-765 and Advanced parole was granted and received my AED combo card in about 3 weeks time.

Since you have a job offer, make an expedite request by calling USCIS and try to talk to operator by choosing the "don't know Alien number" option so that the operator will talk to you then
explain that you wanted to expedite your AED since you have a job offer and mention your emotional and psychological health if requested more reasons ask.

Good luck and hold on to that job offer dearly and aim to get that expedition approval.

Hmmm. this is weird... They should accept you since you have your AED and that means you are legitimate residence. can you reason out that it is currently under process ?
I am waiting for my start day work from the company that I applied and they did not ask for my green card. only ask for my AED card and SSN card.
As Long as your authorized to work in the states then it should not be a problem but apparently not with your prospective employer.
Maybe because the nature of your work to be held? hence they required GC?

I didn't know they can reject an application if the person doesn't have a GC but has the authorization to work. This is the first time I read this.
