RFE : (Proof of U.S Citizenship). Response received Jan 14th but then this date got updated to Jan 21st a few days later.
Case Ready to be Scheduled for an interview: 02/27/2020.

Any updates for any of you guys filing in F2A category?

No updates since fingerprints were applied to my case on 01/30/2020. They usually give the update Case Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview only on Thursday. So over to the next Thursday hoping for this update.

This is case specific, in other words, it all depends on the officer reviewing the documents and how they update the system. It could be soon or it can take weeks.

Got another notification today at 7 AM that the interview has been scheduled. Now, waiting for the interview letter in the mail.

Very helpful thread. I just submitted concurrent as well, but I fear our lawyer has been making mistakes in the application, we caught a couple of missed boxes in the copies he sent us and he said he will mail it in but I'm worried about missing this unique current F2A situation because of his mess-ups, if it gets denied again I'd like to follow what you guys found to be working, do you file yourself or have a lawyer? if so please message me the contact information, thank you!

I am by no means an expert but I have been visiting these forums for a while so I have some idea and this is what I have observed.

1. Absolutely do not waste this Current window for concurrent filing for F2A. Cases used to take a lot longer when this wasn't the case. If you are married and are ready to file send in your application.
2. Lawyers generally are slow to respond and aren't necessarily error-free in their form filing. They are also generally slow to respond to the RFEs.
3. If you think your case is straightforward with no prior marriages, status violations and any criminal offences, and you are willing to look up stuff on the forum or other resources online, you should be able to do this yourself and save some fees in the long run.
