I am on DACA and married a citizen in Febuary 2018. We applied for adjustment of status for green card in San Francisco. We were just told today that we need to re apply as some papers were missing. Of course, I'm disappointment that they wanted this long to tell us, but I would like to know if we will still have to wait 2 years again. It has been 20 months since we applied, and are hoping we don't have to wait another 20 months. Please advise/

Get the assistance of an attorney this time. It's easy to miss a document out of CIS's laundry list. If it was hard denied for lack of proper supporting documents rather than an RFE, you will have to start over. Any wait time for CIS these days that's not specifically laid out by the regulations/statutes is egregiously long due to internal turmoil the current administration is causing. The staffing that normally would process things has been reassigned to other tasks.
