can i file for adjustment of status?

hi, I'm in the F-3 category(married son or daughter of a U.S. citizen) my priority date is April of 2000. per the visa bulletin the dates for filling in my category are current. can i apply for adjustment of status even if the real priority date is not current. has anyone done this? or has any kind of experience filing based on the dates for filling? thanks

Yes, you can file I-485 now (assuming you are in the US and in status). Whether a given priority date for a given category can file AOS in a given month is determined by USCIS's chart.
