  • Where to put checks/cheques for concurrent filing.

    Dear All,

Filing concurrently and am a bit spooked by not knowing exactly where to put the cheques/checks for I-130 and I-485. We have a number of folders (I-485. I-944, I-130, I-130a, I-864, I-765, I-131), so that's adding to the problem.

In short, should I affix them within each of the relevant folders (I-130 / I-485) to the front of the actual application forms?

Can't quite find a clear answer to this online.

    Hi,

I'd put that on the top of the package. Thats what I did and it got accepted. If you're resubmitting your application then make sure green paper is on the top and then you can put your cheques for I-485 and I-130.

This thread was resurrected by somebody else. I’ve already had my NOAs for this. I put my checks/cheques inside of each applicable application’s folder. I combined the I-485 check/cheque with biometrics and made sure to note on the memo for the check/cheque that that had been done.

Ravi, not sure what “tips” you’re looking for specifically. The only real general tip is to read the instructions and ask specific questions as you go through it. Lots of people here to help as you proceed.
