I got exactly the same - I went to do the 2nd biometrics and they took only one fingerprint and another photo. I would highly recommend you go to the appointment regardless.

I said this is why I need a biometric appointment and anyway since my PD is 9 July 2020 I'm beyond 90 days I need my biometrics.

To all that her reply was - "you cant do any of that, all you can do is just wait" and then she was like "since your wife has filed affidavit of support for you, you should just depend on her financially and there is nothing we can do" and then hung up the phone.

Im so mad at these people...so freaking arrogant ...like an agent is telling me this crap.
I was on the same boat as you, but I reached out to Congress Women and the Omsbudman recently. I'm a late march filer and despite how many times i contact uscis, the response has been the same. However; after I contact those govement agents, today I received my Biometric Notice, but the weird thing is, I also received an email saying that both my EAD and AP are approved.

I remember getting a second biometric appointment letter for my I-131 even though I already had my bio data taken for my I-765 but when I called USCIS, there was no need to turn up for the second appointment. In my case, I got another letter saying they were going to use my first bio data taken for my I-765.

    So please call them.
