Hi I am in the same case i am guessing my case or biometric will be in Tampa FL and my date received for my case are 06/5/2020. Everywhere i check it says case received and nothing else. No fingerprints or anything.

I could be wrong but since FL was really bad with COVID 19 i know that tampa office was closed for 2 months from April to late June so maybe that why its taking so long? Anyone else in FL has got their fingerprints?

Im a june filer as well. Haven’t gotten my biometrics appointment yet. In San Francisco :-( I already requested for followup.

My timeline so far:

-01/27/20: Same sex couple, married to USC.
-06/29/20: Package I-130, I-130A, I-131, I-485, I-693, I-765, I-864, I-864 joint sponsor and I-944 sent via certified mail USPS.
-06/30/20: Delivered by USPS and signed by Chicago lockbox T Thomas.
-07/25/20: Checks cashed.
-07/30/20: Text messages received with case confirmation numbers.
-07/31/20: Received NOA's in the mail.
-08/05/20: Received RFIE notification from USCIS for I-485, letter to follow via mail.
-08/10/20: Received RFIE in the mail asking for my partner's pay stubs for the last 6 months and letter of employment.
-09/18/20: Mailed out RFIE to Lee-Summit's office.
-09/21/20: USCIS confirms they've received RFIE.
-10/27/2020: Called USCIS regarding biometrics appointment not yet scheduled. USCIS send E-Request to Chicago FO.
-11/10/2020: Immigration officer reaches out to me via phone call to explain the reason I haven't received a biometrics appointment, appointment will come eventually.

What reason did he give for you not getting biometrics yet? And what does eventually mean? Did he give a time by when you will get it?
Was this a Tier 2 officer?

He said they're clearing up people from 3 months before my PD. I believe he was a TIER 2 officer. Eventually means: Appointment will come sometime within the next few days, weeks or months, maybe years, who knows!

I just got off a live chat with an agent through Emma. She said I am still in-line for review (file date = 6/5, biometrics = 8/6). I requested for an expedite due to an incoming job offer. She was very helpful and provided assistance. She said I should hear back within 5 days. Let's see how it goes.

I did receive an e-mail from USCIS to send them a copy of the job offer. This needed to be in the formal company letterhead. I sent this on 11/2; have not heard since then. If I do not hear back next week; I will contact them again. The job offer needs to be accepted by 12/11,

She even asked if I sent them a copy of the job offer for the expedite. I faxed a copy on 11/2 and mailed another copy with tracking which was received on 11/4. At least she scheduled a Tier 2 officer to call me in the next 7 days and issued a service number. Just as a reminder; I filed on 6/5 and biometrics was completed on 8/6. The stressful part is I need to accept the job offer by 12/11. I really need an update on approval so I can sign the offer and send back!

its ridiculous..i have been working hard to get a job as well...with so many interviews etc. and I'm hoping to expedite EAD too once I get an offer....but if they take so long to even expedite then I wonder if all this hard work and interviewing is even worth it.

For most of us, the word FRUSTRATING is an extreme understatement. I've seen immediate responses to expedite requests several months ago; but it had gotten to the point of almost a standstill now. I look at other forums and all I see are applicants working on biometrics and expedites; almost no approvals. I am doing just about everything humanly possible to get my EAD/AP moving.
