It sounds like it's in the system, but the local ASC needs to schedule it (and is probably backlogged). Is there a way to directly call the local ASC?
Please can you let us know if you are going to receive your social security card? I think it should come when you get your ead but not 100% sure

Yesterday status for I-765 updated to “Card was mailed to you”. Two days ago I-131 and I-765 were approved.

    Hi everyone,

I just got a response to my e-request because I haven't received my biometric appointment. The response doesn't seem to have any useful information except telling me to wait.
Is there anything I can do except wait? Did anyone get biometrics soon after receiving a response? Thanks!

I still haven't had any news on biometrics yet. Not through mail or email. I put in an e-request which they replied through email weeks after with "Our records indicate that we are awaiting your appearance for biometric processing. Your case is currently in suspense or on hold until we receive your biometrics... Once you have been scheduled, you will receive an ASC Appointment Notice containing the date....etc" So I just have to wait for the biometrics appointment notice I guess. So tired of waiting
    Hey BipBop,

We are on the same boat with me having filed for my papers later in the month. its so helpful to see and share each other's status as it helps with the anxiety. I haven't heard anything as well and waiting for any type of updates. the last was NOA texts with USCIS updating the fingerprint fee was accepted. Do update us when you receive your fingerprint notice, as accordingly mine will come maybe in a few weeks from yours.

Hey, we are in the same bucket.

After receiving the NOA texts, there has been no updates. Its frustrating. Have you received any updates? I think my date falls right after yours.

I called uscis this morning to set an expedite request and they told me they cannot place it because on 11/14/2020 we have scheduled your biometrics appointment and you have to wait to get it in the mail. He told me that usually, it takes up to two weeks for the mail to arrive.

    My timeline so far:

-01/27/20: Same sex couple, married to USC.
    -06/29/20: Package I-130, I-130A, I-131, I-485, I-693, I-765, I-864, I-864 joint sponsor and I-944 sent via certified mail USPS.
-06/30/20: Delivered by USPS and signed by Chicago lockbox T Thomas.
    -07/25/20: Checks cashed.
-07/30/20: Text messages received with case confirmation numbers.
-07/31/20: Received NOA's in the mail.
-08/05/20: Received RFIE notification from USCIS for I-485, letter to follow via mail.
-08/10/20: Received RFIE in the mail asking for my partner's pay stubs for the last 6 months and letter of employment.
-09/18/20: Mailed out RFIE to Lee-Summit's office.
-09/21/20: USCIS confirms they've received RFIE.
-10/27/2020: Called USCIS regarding biometrics appointment not yet scheduled. USCIS send E-Request to Chicago FO.
-11/10/2020: Immigration officer reaches out to me via phone call to explain the reason I haven't received a biometrics appointment, appointment will come eventually.
Don’t tell me about it. I initially send my application on May and uscis lost it. If they didn’t lost the application I could had my ead on hands now

There is no online updates for the biometric notice, only after you do the fingerprints, the case gets updated into fingerprints were taken. It’s very very rare that the case updates into biometric was scheduled.
