Good news in the mail after almost 2 months of silence - just received our I-693 Deficiency Notice in the mail dated 10/07 -- took 10 days to get to us. So glad things are moving again.I-485 Submitted via USPS: July 14
Arrived at Chicago Lockbox: July 21
Cc payment pending: July 31
Text messages received: August 5
3 NOAs received in mail: August 10
RFIE received: August 17
USCIS received response to RFIE: August 25
I-693 Deficiency Notice received: October 17 (dated Oct. 7)

It was for a copy of the birth certificate. We had sent in the original submission but we ensured all the seals and signatures were clearer and the translations reflected that too for the second submission.Originally posted by rohjas View Post

Dont even know how the system works honestly but I hope other July filers start getting EAD/AP too.
I havent even got a biometrics yet - but looking at your case it might be possible that they waive it - do you have any idea/clue why they waived the biometrics.
