EAD renewal filed no text confirmation From Uscis

I filed for EAD/AP renewal Since June 14. Tracking shows delivered June 16 but I haven’t received any text or email confirmation from Uscis. I am getting worried. Was my application lost? Should I file a new one? I included the original renewal expedite form with the 1st application, so if I file a new application I don’t have that form anymore to include. Has anyone filed for EAP/AP renewal and received confirmation?

Hello, it is fair to be concerned, but I don't think you need to re-file. We filed our ROC on May 4, 2020. It was received on May 6, 2020. We got our text message on May 26, 2020-we sent 9lbs 5.8oz of evidence so it may have taken them some time to re-sort the application. We only got concerned when we didn't receive the actual notice in a timely manner. We contacted USCIS and that's when we realized they mailed it to the physical instead of the mailing address. They responded on June 15, 2020, we got our receipt on June 22, 2020.

However, USCIS usually collects/checks the lockbox/ mails twice daily. But, there are different processes that USCIS does before you are given a text or actual message of receipt. Once they collect your application it is initially checked for correct fee/check, signature, supporting forms, if it is filed at the right location etc. Only after they are initially satisfied with the content/arrangement of the application will they send the receipt text, then the actual receipt to you. 1 month without confirmation for EAD/AP renewal is not normal but nothing these days are. Is your expiration date close? if not, you can wait 2 more weeks to see if anything arrives even without an SMS.
