  • Expedite i-765 without Biometric - HOW?

Hi everyone, I've seen posts of people who successfully expedite their i-765 without biometric. How to do so? I called USCIS, they emailed me back saying

" Our records indicate that we are awaiting your appearance for biometric processing. Your case is currently in suspense or on hold until we receive your biometrics. Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local ASC. Once you have been scheduled, you will receive an ASC Appointment Notice containing the date, time and location of your appointment. You must take the ASC Appointment Notice and photo ID to your appointment. You may request expeditious processing again once USCIS has received your biometrics."

So how did someone received EAD/ get their i-765 approved without a biometric? Some have never even had biometric taken previously.
    Thanks!

I tried myself and had same feedback as yours and so I didn’t bother to try again but wait till I’m done with my bio.

I’ve read someone’s post that (s)he contacted his ombudsman/congressman to expedite the AP; if my memories set me right, that person had lost a relative and had to travel back to his/her home country.

I also read that some people got theirs expedited cos they’ve been working in the US under different visa types and so expediting their EAD/AP under AOS was “easier” for them.

Aside these, I’m not privy to any other way people have got their EAD/AP expedited before biometric details taken.
