We got the letter for the biometrics appointment today! Yay!



Our Timeline so far:
September 1, 2020 - Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record signed by a civil surgeon
September 8, 2020 - Package Shipped to USCIS Chicago Lockbox via UPS
September 10, 2020 - USCIS Chicago Lockbox received it, someone signed it
September 23, 2020 - The Filing Fees of $1225 and $535 were charged to our credit card
September 27, 2020 - Text Messages arrived saying: "case was received" + receipt number + Form I-797 will come in the mail
October 2, 2020 - Received Form I-797 Notice of Action in the mail
December 27, 2020 - Received letter to appear in person for a biometrics appointment on January 8, 2021
January 8, 2021 - upcoming Biometrics appointment

We concurrently filed Forms I-130, I-130A, I-485, I-693, I-864, I-944, I-765 and I-131.

I got my biometrics appt notice yesterday. So that was 87 days wait for that. Appointment is for 1/20/2021. Unfortunately im out of town until 2/3/21 so ill be mailing it in to reschedule.

I cant believe mail is the only way to reschedule the appt. That seems really silly.

Anyone else had to reschedule their biometrics?

Get an update for RFIE... So now waiting for what they want from us now.

Got the RFIE letter 12/23, USCIS is asking for my I-944. Mailed out the package the next day, let see how long for them to process my I-944.

Hello. I filed AOS for my wife without I-944 due to Injunction. Last week I received a letter stating that I need to submit this form. So I started filling it out and I have couple questions.
Do I need to provide assets and resources if my income is greater than 125% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines?
Under Educational and Occupational skills. She has occupational skills from working at certain jobs (experience) but she never got any certifications for those skills. So can I put her skills without certifications?
Under English skills, she can speak English not perfect but she can understand and speak a little. She doesn't have and certifications for English. Do I put Yes she can speak English but leave certifications blank?
This form is just ridiculous. They ask really dumb questions on it...

Im 80 days now waiting for my biometrics letter. They recieved my application sept 29. its annoying because in 10 days time im on the road til feb 5 so im likely to have to reschedule it.

Sent to Chicago lockbox. Field office is also Chicago.

It could be a RFIE for I-944. I filed in August without I-944, and then got a RFIE later when the court injunction was removed.
