Hi, I am in the same position as you. I sent mine to Chicago lockbox and haven't received anything yet. Here's hoping we all get a response soon.

I called Chase and they told me the checks were cleared this morning, we sent cashier's checks, I assume they verified the certified funds checks were valid and processed our applications. We got all four receipt numbers via text last night around 9:30 pm, about 7 -10 minutes apart each text. Don't lose hope, I know other people that filed after we did got their receipts way before we did. Our application was about 500 pages long, mostly bonafide stuff and certified translations. It depends also how you sent it, we sent ours via USPS and found out afterwards that USPS takes longer than if you send via Fedex or UPS. We paid USPS for overnight, we live in Chicago and sent to Chicago Lockbox so it got there actually in less than a day.

Hey I sent my application on 09/30/2020 it was received by them on 10/01/2020 (Chicago lockbox and was signed by J Harper). I haven't received any updates since then. Checks havent been cashed and no text email notification. Do you think waiting is the only option as of now? Congratulations on receiving text alerts

I received all four I-797s today with MSC receipt number, I have never seen MSC before, any insight on this? Took 25 days from the day they received the forms for the case to be accepted.

MSC is the national benefit center, most the marriage AOS cases go there. they do all the heavy lifting work and process your combo card, and then send the applications to the local offices for interviews.

I recieved 2 of my i-797's today - one for the i-130 and one for the i-765 but not yet for the i-485 or i-131

When did the new fee go in effect? I sent in $1275 as I was told by the USCIS agent. I noticed that biometric also went up from $85 to $170 on https://www.uscis.gov/feecalculator

Mine was likely sent to a secondary evaluation by USCIS officers. Some errors are subject to rejection based on their business rules and some other concerns require a USCIS officer to intervene. (they likely use a computer system to aid this process; sunk318's rejection probably required a secondary officer's confirmation but I think the error was initially detected by the intake team's computer system. If they find any missing documents clearly requested in the instructions [such as a birth certificate], they automatically issue a rejection.) If my guess is correct, and if your application was automatically rejected for an obvious error, you should know in 3 weeks or so (just like any other eventless acceptances). If a USCIS officer needs to evaluate, then it would take about 5 weeks to know the outcome. They likely have multiple teams, each headed by a supervisor. Each team might do intake processing slightly differently based on the staffing of the team and their experiences, causing some applications to go faster than others. In addition, there might be a delay for applications lacking i-977. They might be preparing an RFIE, especially for applications that were scanned after the announcement to reinstate the form.

That makes sense, I hope we didn’t make any errors, we checked every single page about 4 times with 3 sets of eyes, our application was about 500 pages long, mostly Bona fide and translations. We sent every single document include the medical examination and the one that was reinstated recently. We did request emergency advance parole so it could be that? We had a death in the family abroad the same day we sent the application, sadly. Now we are trying to go abroad to deal with all of that and the other elder parent which isn’t doing so well. I hope we hear back soon at least NOA. Hoping it doesn’t get rejected due to missed errors on the forms.

sorry to hear the rejection. USCIS now requires a separate fee for advance parole documents. If you are applying for one, were you asked to include the fee in your resubmission?
