Which state are you guys at? Wonder if that affects how fast the receipts are notified.

my receipt date is Sept 12 and I was able to expedite my EAD processing because I work with Covid-19. However I have heard nothing so far from USCIS so I reached out last week. I was told that they have my biometrics on file. That I had appeared at an ASC on November 19 to give my biometrics.
I didn’t because I got no appointment. The only biometrics I’ve done so far is for Canadian express entry on September 29!
Uscis tier 2 officer called me because I really insisted I gave no biometrics and told me that I actually have one on file but couldn’t tell me how it came to be.
Still there is no update to my case status since the 19th they said I gave my fingerprints.
I can’t sleep wondering if they have the right biometrics. The anxiety and all is doing me in.

Sept 11: Mailed i140/i485/i131/i765 to Texas lockbox
    Sept 12: Received by USCIS
October 10: 4 NOAs in mail (ATL home)
Nov 2: EAD Expedite request approved
Nov 19: Biometrics was supposedly given and applied
Dec 1: Tier 2 officer called to confirm biometrics applied.
    no case status change!

We are waiting too, but they told us it takes 2-3 days, seems that is not the case? We will have no other choice but to go into the local field office if we don't hear back by end of tomorrow. Our biometrics appointment info was sent via email, we took this to the office on the day of even though the actual notice had a future date.

Yes, the Tier 2 officer advised us to wait 3 days before going into the local office. With an expedited request he said it takes 2-3 days normally for the combo card to be processed after submitting your biometrics. Hoping to get an answer by today or tomorrow so we don't have to go into the local office and pay the fee again.

You should post in the October or November forum to get an experience from others who filed at the same timeframe as you. This forum is if you applied in September so we wouldn't be able to give you a full answer as most of us here already have our NOAs.

My check is not cashed yet and no receipt as well. After 1 month, I received the following response in email from lockbox:

    Good day,
The Lockbox has recently experienced a significant increase in filings. This, in addition to the restrictions put in place because of the COVID-19 pandemic is causing significant delays for processing receipt notices. USCIS continues to work hard to minimize delays. Once your submission has been completely processed, you will receive a notice in the mail. If you do not receive a notice in 30 business days, please contact Lockbox Support for additional details.

It does serve as an extention if you had a i-765 in the first place. I had an o1b visa and it dosent extend that. An i-765 wasnt part of the o1b application. Ill be getting an i-765 for the first time. It isnt a renewal.

Yes, so because our case was expedited, the officer advised us to not go into the field office and wait until this coming Monday as we should have an approved AP by then. We were supposed to fly this Saturday but will now push the flight a few days while hopefully we get the approval letter.
