actually many people filled everything together and got approval. There is a member here who filled concurrent in October 2019 and got approved this week .
My advice for you is: on the day of your interview, please print out the Visa Bulletin (USCIS) showing that the F2A visa was current for filing at the time you filed. Bring this document to the interview in case the interviewing officer might challenge you. I really regret that I did not prepare that Visa Bulletin document for the interview to show for the officer.

Hi friends, I just wanted to give an update on my case for people following this thread.
Today, I have received a status update on my I-485 case after 2.5 months of filling the Appealing form I-290B. My green card has been approved. I am very happy.

Hi friends, today I just received my green card. It is a conditional green card for 2 years because we were only married for 1 year and 7 months. I will need to remove the 2-year condition in the future.

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to share my journey so far. I am an F2A filer and my information is below. My AOS got denied because I did not submit I-944, but when I filed there was an injunction, and we were instructed not to file the I-944. I never received an RFE for it. I received an RFE for my birth certificate, which I responded to, but got denied for not submitting the I-944. By the time I received the denial letter, I-944 was overturned and it was no longer required. My attorney filed an I-290B for Motion to Reopen. Now just waiting for the next step. Anyone else in the same boat?
