I finally received my biometrics appointment last week scheduled for mid July. But it was at the wrong city 6 hours from where I live. So I have to reschedule it. :'(

Marriage base AOS (New York, Queens)
12/08/2020: Package was received at Chicago
01/02/2021: Received four NOA receipts on 01/02/2021

Still awaiting biometrics, submitted multiple e-request for travel document since it's out of processing time and got no where.
The wait is so frustrating.

I asked multiple questions (Update on I-485 application, Update on application, biometric status, application update) but Emma does not let me connect to an agent. I left the chat open for a while then asked "update on application" again and it connected me to an agent. Seems odd, but this is how I got connected to Danielle, the agent who gave me the update.

01/02/2021: Received four NOA receipts on 01/02/2021

I used the online chat tool (Ask Emma) and asked about my biometrics appointment. The agent said

"Biometrics have been scheduled and updated on 06/12. Your biometrics appointment is scheduled at (9:00 AM) on (07/09/2021). You must have the notice with you to be allowed to enter the office."

Finally my application is moving!

Timeline:
Marriage to American Citizen (San Francisco)
12/18/20: My package was received at Chicago lockbox
01/10/21: I received four NOA receipts in the mail with a notice date of January 5, 2021
06/14/21: Chatted with an agent, informed me that the biometrics is on July 9, 2021
07/09/21: Biometrics Appointment

to date it would be 7 months since we sent our documents. Except for receipt numbers and a notice for medical to be submitted for interview , i havent heard anything yet and I am getting a little worried at this point.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm still waiting to hear back about biometrics.

Hi everyone! Here's my timeline, i was wondering if anyone has experienced expediting i765 (work permit) and was able to get it? I am currently on H1-B visa but I am hoping to accept a different job and require the work permit for it. Any help would be appreciated.

My I-485 application was updated on 4.24.21 to show that fingerprints were taken but since then I haven't heard anything. My co-worker who filed in October received his combo card a week after his biometric appointment. As it's been over a month since my biometric appointment, is there anything I can do? Is it worth trying to contact USCIS?
