01/14/2021 - Charges posted on the Credit Card
01/17/2021 - Text message with 3 receipt #s (I-130, I-1485, I-131) received
01/25/2021 - Paper receipts for same three (I-130, I-485, I-131) received.
01/30/2021 - I-765 application rejected - got the form back in USPS - issue - old form used.
02/02/2021 - Sent updated I-765 via USPS Priority Mail - Chicago Lockbox
02/08/2021 - Application received - IT TOOK 1 WEEK FOR PRIORITY MAIL TO REACH!!
03/10/2021 - Receipt received for updated I-765
03/20/2021 - Biometrics appointment scheduled for April 16th! Lawrence, MA field office.

Wow! Was pleasantly surprised to see this quick turnaround on the Biometrics. Hoping rest of the case proceeds equally fast!

Question: The biometrics notice has petition info about I-485 and I-765 only. No reference to the I-131 receipt. Anyone else have experience with this - please share.

05/20/2021 - I-485 APPROVED (as seen on USCIS online account)
Also a note on I-765 about case being closed w/o action.
05/24/2021 - Paper receipt of I-130 and I-485 received via USPS
05/24/2021 - Card mailed - as per USCIS online account (Priority Mail)
05/27/2021 - Card received!

Observations: This was case for Immediate family of a US citizen. US Citizen - my wife, Beneficiary - my mother-in-law
- No interview and significantly faster than anticipated turn around.
- Election 2020 got something to do with it? Who knows - probably.
- Elimination of I-944 was a big relief. In fact getting that form ready delayed our application by 4+ months. Perhaps a blessing in disguise and we seem to have caught a faster wave like that?
- Side note - her application to extend visitor status file in August 2020 is still pending with CSC!!!

Question for anyone else in similar boat - since her I-765 was closed without decision - they said benefit was received by other means (I-485 approval), would they have filed for the Social Security number anyway? Did not want to file multiple applications.

Employment-based/ Oakland, CA ASC
December 23, 2020: Mailed packet
End of January 2021: Receipt notice received in the mail
February 1, 2021: Fingerprint fee received
May 13, 2021: Biometrics appointment scheduled
May 24, 2021: Biometrics done and case was updated to show fingerprints were taken

Same here no updates. I got a deficiency letter sometime in March and after that no updates what so ever.

Update for my I-765 approval. My card did arrive as a combo card (both work permit and advance parole). It was mailed out USPS on May 13th Priority and arrived at my attorney's office May 15th
