December 2020 I-485 filers may join

Any body who filed under Family category in Dec get Biometrics . Since the receipts i just got a deficiency letter from them and since nothing. Its been already like 5 months since our PD and I am starting to get a little worried. I am not sure if this is the norm at this point

I only know one person who filed under that category. They filed in November and got their biometrics in early March. But they are in MA so I'm not sure if it's helpful since you might be in a different state dealing with a different field office.

May 10th. I think the Boston office is super busy considering that it's almost a month away. Still, I don't complain!

I used EMMA and talked to an agent who placed the inquiry for me. Not family based. Mine is. Diversity Visa AOS.

I used EMMA to chat with an agent and explained that I wanted to place an inquiry with the Boston field office. They did it for me.

According to what I have seen, you don't get a text and your case status does not change online. The letter just arrives in the mail so we have to wait. I'm in the same situation.

End of January 2021: Receipt notice received in the mail
February 1, 2021: Fingerprint fee received

No biometrics appointment yet.

I just checked. No appointment found for that name and date of birth.
When I was talking to Emma she also could not see any appointments.
The appointment is not reflected in my case status either.
