  • EAD and AP

    Hi

How much times does it takes to get the EAD and AP these days

  • #2
It depends upon processing center and local ASC
somewhere 3 to 5 months or even more
they are processing at snail speed and heavy backlogged with H4/L2 and AOS based EADs

      You can go to: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Select I-765 and your service center. Most service centers say that for I-485 are taking between 4 and 9 months.

Your receipt should show 3 letters for the service center, for example, SRC is for Texas Service Center.

So no one know before hand to which service center the case will go.

Depending on the AOS category you can find some information on where your case should be processed. My case is EB and I knew that the service center will be Texas. I read that FB (marriage) cases are usually processed for the National Benefits Center but I have no experience.

I'm sorry for your but I hope you can get the renewal receipt soon.

I sent mine 1 month ago and my EAD will expire by the end of March, which means that I may have to stop working if I don't get the receipt with the 180-day extension.

Does anyone know if valid L1A be applied to I9 if the EAD or the receipt of EAD is not received.
