Have you ever changed your lawyer and got a refund of fees paid?

I am wondering how you go about changing/firing lawyer and requesting retainer money back. Are there any laws about getting your money back?

I think it might depend on the terms of agreement on your contract with your lawyer. I am not sure just speculating..
