[HELP] I-130, which city and state do I put in for the last filing of i-130?

Hi guys,

I am helping a friend filing I-130 along with I-485, it comes to a question 3 of part 5 of the form i-130 of where did she file her last i-130. She did previously sponsor her ex-husband at the Chicago address. However, when she withdrew it, the mail came back letting her know her filing was being processed in the Virginia office.

So for part 5 question 3a, 3b, should she put in the Chicago office address or the Virginia one?

I would put the city where she applied.

The processing office can vary quite a bit depending on the case. For example, our case was filed in Chicago but the case traveled from Chicago to NBC at Lee's Summit, MO, and the San Fernando CA office.
