Hello, I have a question on my i485 application. I had a dui 10 years ago in MA and the case has now been sealed. As per i485 instruction, I need to disclose my past arrest records and court record. However, I only have one old copy of court certified disposition letter. When I call the court, they said they don't have the record as the case has been sealed. I am hesitant to send the only disposition letter I have with me. Will the USCIS return that document if I submit that? Or can I just send plain photocopies right now and bring the original at the interview? Thanks for your time. I really appreciate if you can help me with this. Also, if anyone can shed some information on part 8 Q25-29 of form i-485, that would be really appreciated.

on the actual form it specifically says not to submit originals unless specifically asked and I don't think they ask for original in your case. Normally all supporting documents are copies and you bring originals to the interviwe -
Thanks for your prompt response. However, when I check the i485 instruction, it says original or court certified copies. Can I still submit the plain copies and bring the certified copies during the interview?Comment
