So I filed for my Mom's AOS and GC a few months ago. We have an interview coming up next Monday. She overstayed her B2 visa by like 7 years.
Anyway, I just checked the status online and it says
'we have approved this OS155A IMMIGRANT VISA AND ALIEN REGISTRATION' .
Does that mean they approved her for a green card?
If so, why bother with the interview next week? Can they still deny the AOS?
Please reply!
Sorry - looks like the notification was for my GC from 4 years ago. It looks like they updated it today. Weird.
