Can anyone provide info on how to get the name check status after the finger printing is done? Is there a notice from USCIS?

If you are talking about the FBI check, you are not informed by USCIS if its done or not. Once the FP are taken, USCIS sends the info to FBI electronically. I've heard its done in just a matter of weeks !
