Need Help Bad for Wife change of status

I hope this is in the right forum. We need some help badly. My wife came over from Germany on a vistors visa in Dec 1990. We got married in Feb 1991. Applied for temp GC. Here is the problem, we never filed for perm GC. She got her GC and SS card stolen a couple years later. Had same job for 15 years and company closed down. Now she has no SS card, No GC no Drivers license, expired passport expired. She cant work or drive or leave country to visit ailing parents. We have no children she is pretty much afraid to leave house for fear of deportation. Any help would be greatly appreciated, pointed to an cheap attorney or paperwork to file. Will USINS deport her? thanks ahead daryl

Did you ever go for your second interview? That is very very strange and does not look good on your side for not applying for a permanent residency card. Here's what you can do, speak to an attorney who offer free initial consultation and see what your options are. I am sure she would not be deported, but DO NOT let her leave the country under no circumstances. Are you guys living together since? Was there a period where you were separated?

I know we where stupid not to go for second interview. Yes we have been married and together since she came over. We met when i was in the Military over in Germany. Please send info for lawyer. Thanks for everything.
