Will USCIS Adjudicate My I‑485 Under EB‑3 with Two Approved I‑140s

My priority date is current on the January 2026 Visa Bulletin. I have two approved I‑140s—one EB‑2 and one EB‑3. I originally filed my I‑485 under EB‑3. When the dates retrogressed, I submitted an interfiling request with Supplement J to USCIS to classify my case under EB‑2, and USCIS acknowledged receipt of my I‑485J.

Current situation: My EB‑2 priority date is not current, but EB‑3 is current.

Questions:

1. Since I have two approved I‑140s, will USCIS consider my I‑485 under EB‑3?
2. What is the proper course of action to prompt USCIS to adjudicate my I‑485 under EB‑3?
