Birth Certificate - ISsue with Month

Hi,

I’ve encountered an issue with my birth certificate. The month of birth is recorded incorrectly on the original certificate, but all my other documents — including school, college, passport, and visa records — reflect the correct information.
I checked with the municipal office, and they confirmed that once a record is uploaded or registered, it cannot be changed. In this situation, please advise what steps I can take for the filing status change.

Hi,
You can’t correct the birth certificate, so submit a notarized affidavit explaining the error, include all other documents showing the correct date of birth, and attach a letter explaining the situation. This is generally accepted for filing purposes.
