F1 but overstayed

First of all thanks to the people here for sharing the valuable information.
I am a F1 student but stopped education for some valid reasons. If I marry a USC
do I have to go back to my country while she files for me or we can do the processing without me going back.

If you are an overstay mmm but if you get married you will then yes need to apply for AOS and no don't leave the country as you wont get back in . A ban will be placed on you. Most overstays are forgiven bar VWP.
