employer's letter for 1-485 (NIW): Please Advise

Hi everyone,

I'm waiting for my i-140 decision (NIW) and planing to submit i-485 soon.
Could someone please tell me what should be in the 'letter from the employer' ?

I'm a postdoc and it is a contract basis position. So the employer would not give me a letter stating that the job will be available for me in the future.

Basically, is something along the lines " Dr. yyy works at out department as a postdoc and his salary is $ xxx" enough?

Yep and should be on a business letterhead
