i-485, got biometrics invitaion but my wife still in india

hello every one, i am first time to immihelp..please help me out..i applied for i-485 and got invitation for biometrics where as my wife still in inida waiting to
attend consulate interviw.. and i am going to inida after my appointment..can i still visit india after biometrics and my i-140 not approved and i have valid h1b..and i have not send my medicals to ins yet...someone please help me..
