    hello everyone,i am in the the usa and i would like to adjust my status via my father who is a us citizen,but i don't have his last name would that be a problem?..and is that process take a long time?...

    You are looking at 8 to 10 years.....
    For last name, you need to prove that he is your father and explain why you don't have is last name.

      Why 8 to 10 years? Immediate relatives of US citizens *always* have a visa # available to them.

      And if his father is a US citizen he may also be a US citizen - depending on when he was born and his current age.

      Though not knowing the last name of your father will certainly make things not difficult, but more like impossible.
