TSC Waiting for my Biometrics - I485 past priority date

Recently received a letter from Texas service center that they are waiting for my biometrics..i.e. I'm waiting for a Finger print notice.

Can I go to local ASC office ask for that?

I'm told that once I'm done with Finger printing I'll get my Green Card.

How long do we have to stay with same employer after GC, can I leave my employer with in a few months after GC?

Take an infopass and go to USCIS office. They can open an SR for FP. You just can't go to ASC without a letter.

Thanks for responding. It's been a month I opened Service Request with USCIS, when I went infopass site it says that I have to wait for 45 days.. so another 15 day wait before I can open infopass
